License activation is bound to the operating system. If you need to reinstall the OS or transfer the license to another device, reclaim the license first. Otherwise, activation on the new device will fail.
Online Activation (Default)
For environments with internet access, simply open the Pro version activation page and enter your license code to complete activation.
Offline Activation
For environments without internet access, you can switch to offline activation on the activation page, then follow the instructions to open the Offline Activation Page . After exchanging for a license token, copy the license token to the offline computer to complete activation.
* iDefender must be upgraded to version 5.0 or above to support activation.
The number of devices that can be activated with a license code matches the quantity you purchased. By default, only 1 device is supported.
If you no longer use a device or need to reinstall the operating system, you can reclaim the license code via the settings page and use it on another device. The license period remains unchanged.
After activation, please save your license ID (found in the Pro settings page). Then, use your license code and ID at this link License Reclaiming Page to reclaim online.
There is no limit to the number of times you can reclaim a license, but frequent reclaiming in a short period or abnormal reclaiming may result in a restriction for one week or longer.
Yes, the old license will be merged into the new one, and the time will be accumulated. After updating, the old license will become invalid.
License activation requires internet access. If the environment cannot connect to the internet, you can switch to offline activation mode on the activation page and use the license code to obtain a license key for offline activation.
